This renovation and extension project revitalised a 50‑year‑old river front cottage on the Minnamurra River, transforming it into a functional and family‑friendly home for a young couple and their children.

I would like to highly recommend Simon Tabet and YourBuild as an excellent builder and company. Simon has completed two large builds on my homes both in Sydney (Paddington) in 2016 and more recently in Minnamurra in 2024/5.
Simon really cares about his work and will offer solutions to problems other builders won’t see. Simon will go above and beyond to not let you down, even when there is a tight deadline. YourBuild has a great team of long-standing builders working for him who care for your property, use their common sense, don’t cover over future problems and are trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. This included working with tricky architects, staying on track with timing and budget as well as being available and aways having open communication to discuss any issues.
In my last project, Simon picked up on many small details that would have impacted the quality of the final build, such as backlighting natural stone in the bathroom, recessed lighting in the kitchen cabinetry that had been missed, matching wooden panels from those installed by a craftsmen 20 years ago (by finding the original carpenter), craning baths and large scale windows into place upstairs, and using his contacts the pull a job together. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Simon again on my next build.
